 As a Industry/process/product engineer and project manager at Randaberg Industries, You will  use engineering principles to provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small component designs to large constructions of structures, modules, skids, Dry Bulk facilities. You will  work on all stages of a product, from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning.

Our customers rely on mechanical systems and our engineering work is diverse, with customer opportunities available in a wide range of sectors, such as the oil industry, power, Vessels and Yards.

Typical You will work on a project from the initial brief, through the design and development stage, to the planning and production, right through to final delivery and implementation at the customers site.

Typical work activities include:

  • Developing a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines
  • Discussing and solving complex problems with production/project departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
  • Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
  • Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
  • Working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering specialism
  • Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems for Vessels

 

Your skills :

  • Familiar with CAD-Inventor
  • Theoretical education at engineer level
  • Minimum 5 years experience from project work
  • Experience from fabrication related design drwaings/fabrication drawings
  • Written and oral fluent in English and Norwegian
  • Preferable experience in mechanical workshops activities, fabrication requirements within structural, piping and thank systems
  • Preferable with personal network at management level within Oil- and or Shipping industry.
